The Kjolur trail leads from the coast of Northern Iceland through a remote area filled with hot springs, glaciers, snow-capped mountains, windy plateaus, moorlands and eventually green, lushly fields as you head to Southern Iceland. The route has become a favorite among travelers in Iceland with it´s unique experience in the remote highlands of Iceland. The special map of Kjolur is a detailed map from Arnarvatnsheidi in the West, over Kaldadal, Langjokul (glacier), Kjalveg, and Hveravelli to Kerlingarfjoll. The map also includes two special detailed area maps of Arnarvatnsheidi and Kerlingarfjoll, along with descriptions and pictures of the most famous natural pearls the area has to offer.
